About

Hi there! My name is Sanna Svedestedt, and I am a contemporary jeweller. Whats’s that? Well, you could use the term “art jeweller” as well, if you prefer. Or if you speak Swedish: smyckekonstnär. Simply put, I make art that you can wear. Or hang on a wall if you find that more comfortable. I mostly work in leather and wood, but I don’t limit myself. Although leather is an amazing material, and as you will see when exploring this site, most of my work incorporates naturally tanned leather.

As a part of my practice, I also write about craft and jewellery, and I organize art projects, which you can read more about under the section “art projects”.

Please get in touch if you have any questions or ideas, I would love to hear from you.
